In episode two, Casey continues where they left off. They're faced with a choice. Once they've settled into a risky spot on the mountain, they see that the ram they were after isn't legal to hunt, so they have to retreat.
The crew reaches a canyon where they find a group of ten rams. After the thrill of the first wave, they quickly become disappointed and frustrated when none of the rams are legally suitable.
As the mist drifts past the craggy top of Fish Hook, the crew's shapes slowly come into view right where the ram had been resting. Did they fire without Chris hearing the sound?
The guys are feeling great as they leave sheep territory, but the 22-hour trip to Tom-Tom, the first moose camp, feels endless. It'll take them two long days of riding to get there. As they head into moose land with a successful sheep packed up high, trouble always seems just around the corner on their journey. After riding for eight hours, issues start cropping up.
In the Yukon, decisions can change everything in a heartbeat, especially in such a tough landscape. The brothers are closing in on the enormous mountain grizzly, now just 500 yards away, and it's up to Chris to make the call.
The Keefer brothers are stuck at Church Camp as the snow keeps pounding down, and they can barely see anything. They're snowed in and don't know when they'll be able to continue their hunting trip. They're starting to face a bunch of problems.
While Chris hears the bull getting closer, he can't spot it. Casey, however, has a clear view. They attempt to communicate with hand signals, but the bull vanishes over the mountain, out of sight.
The brothers come up with a strategy and start approaching the bull. Halfway there, the bull gets up and starts walking toward them. It turns away just a moment before Casey can aim behind its shoulder.
